Printing and email with 98 on network

I have recently installed a Linksys BEFSR41 router to a
cable modem connection. Both my XP and 98 machines now
have Internet access. The 98 machine has a number of
problems.1)When I reboot I get a network logon screen
requiring a password. If I use this screen to logon I
cannot retrieve my email using Outlook - the program asks
me for my user name and password but still will not
successfully connect to my ISP. If I don't log on to the
network I do not have this problem. 2) If I don't log on
to the network I cannot print (shared printer) from the 98
machine (the printer cable is connected to the XP
machine). If I do log on I can print.3)Regardless of
whether I log on or not when I click on the Internet
Explorer icon I am forced to go through the Internet
Connection Wizard every time. If I close this application
and immediately reopen it I am once again forced to go
through the wizard. I can work around this by right
clicking on the icon and then clicking on the "open"
choice on the menu.Does anyone know how to solve any or
all of these issues? I have gone through the Network Setup
Wizard on both machines twice.

See if ridding yourself of the logon prompt can solve your problems:
