Good day everyone,

2 computers exist in the warehouse connected to the main office through a
128K leased line to log on the DC (windows 2003).

Due to speed issues, I decided that the 2 users logon locally rather than to
the Domain, however, the PC's are still part of the domain as they need to
extract files sometimes from the domain controller.

A printer which is connected locally to one of those 2 computers was
installed on the other one perfectly, when I did the change above, I'm not
able to install the printer on the other machine through the network anymore.

any advice?

Not sure what operating system you're on with the remote computers, but you
might try posting the information in the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax newsgroup. This newsgroup supports
Microsoft's Broadband Networking hardware and software only.
