I have a desktop wired to Belkin Pre-N router/cable modem, with
Lexmark X75 printer wired to desktop.

And separate Winbook laptop, wireless, with Canon PIXMA IP1500 printer
wired to laptop.

Can I share the laptop printer with the desktop computer?

Brad

just like you would share any other printer, folder, drive, etc.

[snip]

It would help if you said what OS you're using.

Assuming XP, insert the XP CDROM into EACH machine in turn, and from the
menu that appears, select 'Additional activities' (or somesuch option) and
then 'Setup a home or small office network'. Then, add each PC to the
Firewall Trusted zone of the other to allow them to access each other; for
XP firewall, edit/change scope of File & Printer Sharing in the exceptions
tab. Finally, on the network adaptor of each machine, ensure that
File/printer sharing is enabled/installed (should be).
