printer sharing

I have a desktop using ME , a Linksys router. My printer works well. I have a laptop usine XP. the internet and e-mail works well through the router but I can't print from my laptop. Can I set up my desktop ME so the Printer can be shared? Help.

let's start with..have you enabled file and print sharing on the ME machine?
