Hi I have a speedwel 510 router with 2 pc with xp home on
them.for some reason I can not get the remote pc to print.

The first pc next to the router and printer, prints ok,
the dsl on both is ok and I can see files both way of
both pcs,I have read the stuff about sharing printers and
think i have got most of the settings but it still will
not work.evertime i send a test page to the printer from
the remote pc it makes a printer box in the printer
section in control pannel, have tryed moveing the default
to differnt printer connections shown.it did work at one
stage but then the local printer connection failled.i
have got toatally confused and could do with some walking
though please.....regards Peter troth

Peter, maybe you could retrace the steps here. First the printer is shared,
correct? Second, on the remote computer, have you gone into Printers and
Faxes and selected Add a printer, then Browse(d) to the location of the
printer and chosen it? If you currently have an icon for the printer, try
deleting it and redoing the steps again.
