Hello,
I configured our printserver, which is running on 2003R2 X64, to host
several printers. Now I wanted to deploy them with GPO and the
pushprinterconnections.exe tool.
So far, so bad, the first problem was the 64bit version of the tool but I
found out that I had to use the x86 file. Now the tool is working so far but
added no printers to the users. So I enabled logging and in the logfile
appears the following information (translated from german

Error adding the single user connection \\server\printer . The printer
driver is unknown.
So I installed this driver manually on the client and logged on again. This
time, the printer is installed.
So my problem or question is, that I have to install the driver manually to
get it working. With that way I could install the whole printer by myself,
the gpo deployment doesn't really help me there. Is it possible that the
printer driver is installed automatically here?
