New Presario running WXP-SP2 functions as a broadband ICS machine for the
home. ICS with a second NIC is through a generic switch to hard wired
machines as well as an access point. Local machines through the switch have
no problems whatsoever.

All machines (including wireless) connect to the Internet through the
Presario and have no problems.

Two problems:

CANNOT connect to the AP (and have TWO that I have tried) for admin from the
Presario but CAN from any other machine. CAN ping the AP (s) from the
Presario, but nothing else.

All local machines can access the shared printer on the Presario, but NONE
can using wireless.

What exactly precludes a WXP machine from full connectivity on the LAN side?
I understand the restrictions of a firewall (whether used or not) on the
Internet or WAN side of the machine, but do not understand why there is an
issue with F+P sharing internally.

All machines are DHCP from the Presario and have tried turning off
firewalls on EVERYTHING.

Driving me insane...
