print sharing with wireless network.

Hi. Am trying to set up wireless network. Base station is
Sony VAIO desktop running Windows XP, where 2 printers
are connected, connected through Microsoft Wireless
router to Toshiba laptop via Microsoft wireless card. I
can log both machines onto the internet, and I can access
the files on the laptop on the desktop via the broadband
network utility, but cannot access the desktop files or
printers from the laptop. I suspect it has something to
do with the windows me network settings. Have tried
Microsoft & Sony support fruitlessly. HELP!
