print sharing question

I have a wireless notebook that I use at work with MS2000. It is configured
for the employer's network.
At home I have a MSHome wireless network.

My question is: How do I configure the notebook so I can share my printer
with it.
I currently have my two desktops configured for print sharing, and am using
the MS software that came with my wireless kit.

I have twice tried changing the network settings on the wireless notebook
resulting in locking the notebook where I could not logon.

If i install the MS base station software, will it cause a problem whereby
when I am at work I won't be able to logon to my employers network?
