Print Server WAN failover via NLB?

OK, I just can't figure out the best way to do this.

We have our Data Center 20 miles from HQ, and we usually have failover
servers at HQ. I have a W2K print server that has about 50 print spoolers
on it. I want to have a solution so that if we lose connectivity with our
Data Center that the NLB will fail over and it will be transparent to our
users. I wanted to do a traditional cluster but that required shared
storage, so use of two locations was out. I would really like to clone the
current machine (so all the share names are exactly the same) and set up NLB
in which a single DNS entry would point to a machine which will do the load
balancing.

I know clustering is not an option due to the need to share storage, (the
print spooler files need to be in the System32 folder) Is NLB the way to go,
or is there another way?

clone the server using printmig.exe. Not sure how to do the DNS entry
stuff.
