Print issue

I've a Toshiba laptop, wireless, with WIN Vista. I've got it on my home
network which I run from a desk top with WIN XP SP2 on it and a HP
Photosmart 7350 printer connected to it via USB. I can add the printer to
my laptop, it sees it, I've it set to share at my desktop yet I can't get it
to print. I've also got another desktop with WIN 98SE connected through my
router, no problem printing from it.
I've checked the HP site for updated drivers, it says use what Vista
provides. FYI, I've uninstalled the printer from the laptop & reinstalled,
still no help other than laptop is seeing it and adds it to printer list
Any solutions/suggestions out there?

If I say it's a Local Printer, what port do I assign to it even though it's
not really using one on the Vista laptop?
