I have two computers, a cable modem and a print server
running on a LAN. One of the computers is a desktop
running Fedora core 3. I want to print from the Fedora
Linux.

One of the computers is running Windows XP and M$
makes it very easy to tell the print command where the
printer is located.

I have so many questions, but I suppose the first two
should be how does one tell Linux that the printer is on
the end of 192.168.1.254 and then how to print plain
ascii text.

Tnx,
Charles
