Prevent routing between interfaces

How do a set up a dual interface computer running Windows
Server 2003 so it will NOT route between the two NIC cards
in the computer? I would assume that there is a setting
that I need to check, I just can't find it. If it is a
command line command, will it continue to work if and when
the computer reboots without having to re-enter the
command?

Thanks,
Chip

Routing and Remote Access service is ideally OFF or set to only as a Remote
Access Server ( no Router functionality )

Additionally

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters\IPEnab
leRouter should be set to 0x00.

This will prevent a packet from coming in on one interface and going out
another ( IP Forwarding / Routing ).

Just don't enable "routing" in RRAS. I believe it is disabled by default, so
just leave it like that.

The two Nics still must be in different subnets though. If you want two IP#s
from the same subnet then add them both to the same single NIC.
