Sorry for the OT to a WIRELESS newsgroup, but this is a real easy one, and
I figured since you guys have probably done so much research on it. I can
save myself an hour or two sourcing from Google.

Anyway, simple question: Where is the cheapest and best place to buy Cat5
cable online? I know I can find it cheaper than at my local store.

Thanks!

Ryan

Depends on what you are using for a "Local store". Try going to a
contractor's General Supply, or wholesale/Retail Electrical supplies store
and asking. Generally I have found their prices tremendously cheaper, and
no shipping either.

I use Screwfix or a specialist cable supplier when I want 100 metre
drums, otherwise maplin for patch cables etc. You can save a few pee
here and there by shopping around for wall boxes etc.
