1. Name resolution or routing issue. Can you ping the serverb.domain by IP?
2. The RRAS may block the traffic to other resources and Internet. You may try to disable "use gateway in remote network". this search result may help,

I have this situation. I've configured PPTP vpn on a remote vpn server
(2003 x64)...
With Vista.. I can setup the vpn connection and connect just fine.
If I try to connect to a resource on that vpn server say...
\\server.domain it connects fine and prompts for password, if I try
another server.. like \\serverb.domain.. it fails to find it..
This is one half of the problem..
The other half is, that once connected via the client, any hosted
services on the client fail to work/connect while the pptp connection
is established.
IE: ftp or www services timeout when tested from another remote
machine.
If I disconnect the pptp connection on the Vista x64 client, I can then
establish a connection just fine.
I'm not sure what to do on either front, as I think I've tried
everything.. the only thing I havent tried is putting an XP instance on
and seeing if I have the same "timeout" issues and lack of finding
other servers in the remote domain issues...
Thanks
