Hello:

I am a linux beginner and am having an issue getting the pptp client
to work with Mandrake 9.2 (free version).

The linux pptp client connects succesfully to the pptp server, however
no traffic is being passed between the client and server and I can't
ping any devices on the other side of the pptp connection. Is there
something simple I may have missed? It's almost like my linux box is
not getting a remote IP address that allows it to talk to the devices
behing the pptp server.

It should be noted that I can connect and pass traffic using the
Windows XP pptp client without any problems.

If there is something I have missed or if you need more information,
please let me know!

Thanks in advance,
Ken
