Hi,

I can't find a suitable package to connect to my ISP under linix. My
setup is an ethernet connection (eth0) running to a mini WAN that then
goes wirelessly to my ISP here in sunny Bangladesh.

Under Windows its easily set up.

1. The setup dials 172
2. I entered my password and username in the connection setup
3. IP addresses are provided by the ISP

On none of the packages I've seen can I find anywhere to enter 1. The
number to dial. Most recently I've tried the roving penguin pppoe. Has
anyone seen somewhere I can enter a number to dial on any pppoe
package?

I've tried this under Linspire, debian and most recently ubuntu.
Normally I'd provide all the specifics but my specific question doesn't
rely on any flavour of linux.

Cheers,

Neil
