My 710 is changing its public IP address about every four minutes. This
isn't a real big problem but I would like to stop it from doing this. I run
a website from home and I have a dynamic client that handles the change but
can't it be set to keep the same address for longer than 4 minutes.
Thanks
Dan

Since you did not indicate who your ISP is, it isn't possible to investigate
any further... however, perhaps your ISP is dishing out very short leases
(or whatever PPPoE calls the attachment) specifically to discourage people
running servers (are you 'allowed' to run servers on your ISP?)

I suggest you call your ISP and complain that this is happening and ask if
they can change whatever is causing this because it surely is their issue.

Look into the router security logs. It should give you
more info that may be helpful in taking with your ISP
(e.g. lease time)
