Hello,

1. Resumed definition of my problem
-With Mandrake 9.0 and 9.1 i have no problem to connect to internet via the
Belkin usb-serial adapter F5U103F and my serial db9 modem.
-With Mandrake 9.2(kernel 2.4.22.10 or 2.4.22.26) i cannot connect to
internet.

Mandrake team said :
- the device classes changed
- the driver must be rewrite
- we have no solution just to wait for the community to give another driver.

2. I have some doubt. If anyone has an idea i would appreciate.
3. The complete definition of my problem
3.1. My config
- a OLITEC Speedcom V92 Ready (serial) modem
- a BELKIN adapter serial-usb F5U103F
- my modem is connected to the PC via the adapter
- the link /dev/ttyUSB0(generated by the OS) is used by kppp
- All parameters have default value
- all necessary modules are installed usbcore,usbserial,belkin_sa etc.

3.2. Problem
- under windows 98 SE no problem
- Under Mandrake 9.0 and 9.1 Kppp works fine
- Under Mandrake 9.2 Kppp does not work (alsoWvdial)
- The modem behind adapter has never beeen detected but before (9.0,9.1)
that was working fine.

- dialing works
- modem negociation works(V90,V44,LAPM,49333)
- then there is no more exchange and there is no login dialog.
- finally i have a ppd error "...signal 15"

3.3. Here is PPP-logfile :
