PowerVault 770 NAS very slow data copy from other Win2k Servers

We have 3 new dell servers. 1 dc (win2k3) 1 exch 2k3-win2k3 and 1 PV 770NAS
for file sharing. We have had real performance problems with the 770. The
1gb onboard adapter is connected to a 100 mb netgear switch (so are the
other servers-same switch) Standing at the PV 770 console-To copy a 10meg
file from 1 of the other servers to the PV 770- Doesn't matter from which
of the other servers - it takes 1 minute. To copy from the PV 770 to the
other server(s) it takes 5 seconds. Any ideas? This is an architect firm
and the cad files reside on the PV 700 - a big problem when it's slow...

We've removed the add-in 1gb intel card- and things improved slightly..
