Potential interference from video sender ?

I've a Thomson 540 video sender which I use to watch TiVo in my bedroom. I'm
pretty sure it uses the 2.4GHz range. If I get a 802.11b/g network, do you
think I'm likely to get interference on either the TV or network ? The video
sender does have a few settings to switch frequency, but I'm not sure by how
much.

Thanks,

Colin

I have one of ths X-10 wireless video cameras. When it's on, it completely
obliterates my wireless LAN.

Man... makes a great case for using 802.11a and it's 5Ghz freqency
range...

Or for never putting X-10 in *my* house...

I use it fine here.

I just have to make sure the tv is at one end of the band, and the wlan is at
the other end - then no problems

I once lived near a shop with a 2.4ghz video sender on display. From a good
100meters away it caused me an awfull lot of trouble raising the noise level
thru the roof.

If its a good transmitter and doesn't gobble up bandwidth it might work fine
if its frequency is not too close to the channel of your 11b gear.
