postfix recipient trouble

Hello

My postfix mailserver (SuSE 8.0 postfix 1.1.4-57) will systematically append
the FQDN of the machine it's turning on to the recipient address, even if
the address is correctly written.

E.g. (E-Mail Removed)in will be rewritten (E-Mail Removed)in

All mapfiles are empty, so there really is no apparent reason for postfix to
rewrite the recipients addresses.

By the way could somebody tell me how to remove messages from the postfix
queues?

Thanks ced

Do you by any chance have a DNS problem (missing trailing dot on FQDN in a
zone file)? I have seen some people make that mistake and end up showing
both machine.domain and machine.domain.machine.domain for MX. I use
postfix in SuSE 8.2, but in 8.0 I am using sendmail.

I haven't had any msgs linger in postfix, but if I made a mistake with
sendmail I would just stop it, remove the bad message(s) from the queue,
and then start it.
