Hi,

I am looking for a solution, where the pop-before-smtp writes a
database like:

IP-Adress user grace-period

When the user sends after the pop3 authentification a mail, then
postfix should check if the IP-Adress is valid and the 'mail from:
(E-Mail Removed)' entry is the username associated with the IP-Adress.

Is there a way to do this?
I am not sure if smtp-Auth gives me the guaranty, if the 'mail from:
(E-Mail Removed)' checks with the user authentification?

Thanks...

Achim

Have a look on the Postfix website. There is pop before smtp software and
howtos.

Hi,

BUT I want a control like

IP-Adress user grace-period

not the standard pop-before-smtp database like:

IP-Adress grace-period

I am asking for something special. Not a general question about howto
install pop-befor-smtp...

Sorry, I haven't read those howtos in detail. Thought maybe there was
something there that might be useful, I guess not.
