Several people have had problems with this message, according to Google.

The giveaway is the space before the .db. Postfix is looking for a database
named <space>.db. I removed every stray space character in main.cf, which
fixed it. I found one on a line by itself, but the one actually causing
the trouble was a space at the beginning of a string of alternatives after
the = sign in a database definition. Postfix was interpreting that space
as the name of a further database.

Hope this helps someone.

Doug.
