I work for a software company. I believe that our software is being denied
access to file on the server due to a license violation. The Windows 2000
server is set up for "Per Seat". Last week we did note that the Event Log
the server ran out of Licenses. So admin added 100 CALs. The licensing now
look ok there are no unlicensed users. They also revoke licenses of users
that had left the company. We are still getting errors accessing program and
files from the server. The users accessing the files are actually coming
from a Citrix server on the network. There are less than 25 accessing the
server which should have enough licenses now.

When a licensing limit is reached is there any other logging done other than
Event Log?

You should stop and disable the license logging service. It does not work as
expected. Just keep track of your licenses manually as if in per seat mode.
