Suddenly I have a server that isn't playing nice. It takes a while for the
system to log in, checking the logs it mentions issues about Kerberos and
Group Policy failure. Any attempt to check the network config on it freezes
the screen. Example, right click on My Network Places, freezes, run IPConfig
from command prompt, freezes, going to control panel and double clicking on
Network freezes.

Anyone have any thoughts????

Thanks,
Jeremey

Go into the device manager and remove the NIC then reboot.
Make sure you have the most updated drivers for the NIC.
This will rebuild the stack.

Michael,

would a corrupt IP stack actually prevent me from getting into the network
properties of my network places? Or ping, or ipconfig? The server is still
reachable by other systems, but it is unable to get to the internet, however
it is able to get to the web sites that reside on itself.
thoughts???
Thanks,
Jeremey

Funny I was wondering the same thing. I would think another
application is preventing you from accessing these tools. Make
sure the machine is up to date with critical patches and you have
a valid Anti-virus with the latest virus definitions. If all checks
out then I would remove as I suggested earlier.
