I recently moved out to the country and can only get WISP now. The
guy who owned the house before me used WISP, the reciever mount is
still attached to the side of my house. I can clealy see the antenna
from my house it's only a few hundred yards away with no obstructions
at all. I was wondering if there is a way to buy an antenna and
modem, set it to the correct frenquency and always have free
internet? Like I said I'm new to wireless so don't laugh. Just want
to see if with some money and time it's possible.

Thanks in advance

Why not just contact the ISP and pay for the service.

Same reason I don't go to the store and buy a CD. It's more fun and I
learn more when I use the back door. Any help out there?
