Is it possible to get small (4-port) routers to talk to each other?

Is it possible to get routers such as Netgear WGR614 and LinkSys
BEFW11S4 to talk to each other? I found instructions how to do this
in general and tried to apply them to my situation but there doesn't
seem to be a way to set a default route in router A (0.0.0.0 static
route is declared invalid). The other direction, I set a static route
to the WAN side of the router A but still could not ping it! Should
the static route point to the LAN side?

Thanks!

Yes, the static route should point to the near side interface of the next
hop router.

router A router B
+10.1.1.1-------------10.1.1.2+

LAN Internet

Static route in A = "ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.2"
(command is in Cisco IOS notation)

Some of them cant have nat disabled.

The linksys I played with insisted that the only default route was the one on
the default gateway on the WAN side, I couldnt input another on the lan side.
Prob is I wanted the default gateway on the wireless side. That theory fell to
pieces when it was pointed out that it was AP only, no bridging..

I made the following assumptions after reading your message:
1) I must turn off NAT
(at least on the routers that are NOT connected to the internet)
2) Those same routers must be able to bridge

Is that correct?
