Incorrect setup DNS on a multihomed computer can cause an issue. Try to just list one IP in the DNS or disable one NIC to register as DNS. these link may help,

Yes all servers are multi-homed for various reason. The one in question is
the exchange server. I can ping from workstations. Periodically one
workstation that was working quits communicating.
