Can anyone tell me what ports to open on my router to allow a Cisco VPN
client to connect on a XP Pro workstation. We are using a LinkSys RV016
router.

Thanks,
Chuck

I forgot to mention that with Cisco VPN, the port is not an issue.
Otherwise, it's 3389 for RDP.

Cisco VPN and connecting to an XP system are two different things. The Cisco
VPN client gets you access to the network "behind" the Cisco router/firewall.
After that, you need to allow access to the individual PC. Once a user gets
access to the network via the VPN, they need to know the IP address of the XP
system to "RDP" to. Of course, the XP system MUST allow remote access.

Control Panel; System; Remote Desktop ...

Hope that helps.
