Where can I find a good free port scan online. Also when
will the next firmware download be avaible for download for
MN-500. Also if I am using XP and dont have the software
installed can I still install the firmware update. I am the
only computer connected by wire.

You can install the firmware without having the MS Broadband Networking
Utility software installed.

Goto
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...Downloads.aspx

Select MN500
Download the msbndownload.exe file
Run the msbndownload.exe file
Accept the EULA
Save the files to "C:\MSBBN"
and continue on.

It should detect the MN500 on your network and install it.

If for some reason it doesn't work, open your web browser, goto
http://192.168.2.1 and then Management, Update Firmware.
Then point it to the MN500_00.01.11.017_RUNTIME.dlf file
