Port forwarding for ssh

I had a linksys router with port forwarding set up and it
all was working just fine. Today I upgraded to a Microsoft
Wireless BaseStation 802.11g and I need to set it up the
same way. I have the network set up and supposedly the
port is set up but it doesn't want to work for me. I am
trying to forward port 22 to 192.168.1.102 dest port 22.
Yes, that is the correct IP address (I changed the router
IP address to 192.168.1.1). Also, I know it is not some
other problem with my network because I can log in using
192.168.1.102. When I try to log in using my IP address
(WAN IP address on the router main page) it times out.

If you are trying to connect to the WAN IP from behind the MN-700 it
will not work. The MN-700 does not yet have loopback support if that is
what you are trying to do.

So you are saying that outside the router people will be
able to use the ssh service on my wan IP but inside I need
to use the local IP? Is a loopback that hard to implement?
Come on microsoft, I put my faith in you

The next firmware update for the MN700 will have loopback support.
