Is there any way to configure a linksys router to port forward to a
range of ip addresses. In other words when you go to the configuration
page and forwarding tab, you can set to forward port 3389 (for example)
to 192.168.1.___ but this only lets you forward to a specific ip
address, what if you want to forward to all your hosts on the network?

The linksys routers don't have that feature.
Ports get forwarded to one compuer only

Perhaps with third party software, you can play around with the IPChains
rules, but it is not something that you'll be able to do with the stock
firmware..

Also just FYI, this isn't really the right place to ask for info about
Linksys hardware (as this group is for the support of Microsoft Broadband
networking products). You will get much better support at sites such as
http://linksysinfo.org

Another option is to use different "public" ports mapped to each IP address and its corresponding private port.

3389, 192.168.1.1, 3389
3390, 192,168.1.2, 3389
3391, 192,168.1.3, 3389

and etc. Then just remember which "public" port goes to which machine.

Thanks Doug and Jason.
That was my assumption about this particular router but just wanted to
make sure there was not a trick to it.
