port forwarding problems

hi, I've got a computer and a network harddrive attached
to an MN-700. I'm trying to set up port forwarding to be
able to connect to port 80 on the computer and to port 21
on the hard drive (its got a built-in ftp server). these
ports are blocked by Optimum Online, so I'm trying to use
random ports (675, 775) and forwarding them to the
appropriate port. I can forward to port 8080 on the
computer, and to port 80 on the router and access it from
outside. However, port 80 on the computer and port 21 on
the hard drive wont get forwarded properly, they timeout.
any ideas what could be the problem?

Your ISP, and your logic, get a better ISP, get a good
book on port configuration.
