I have a MN 820 network kit and MN desktop wireless PCI
card both connected to the base station MN-700
wirelessly. Does anyone know how to configure the port
forwarding in MS broadband utility to increase the speed
when using BT download (ports 6881-6999?)?

I note that I can just input a single inbound port but a
range of outbound ports in a single entry. Will the speed
different under the following A, B, C, and D:

A. Inbound port to 6881 and outbound port 6881 only

B. Inbound port to 6881 and outbound ports to 6881-6885

C. Inbound port to 6881 and outbound ports to 6881-6889

D. Inbound port to 6881 and outbound port to 6881,
inbound port to 6882 and outbound port to 6882......and
inbound port to 6889 and outbound port to 6889 (nine
separate entries)

Will the download speed increase if I also add the same
entry in the setting under the properties - gateway -
wireless connection under winxp instead of doing it in the
broadband management tool? Thanks for helping.

Martin

Use Persistent port forwarding. The directions are in the manual. I
don't know the exact procedure as I have the MN-500 as it has a
different interface I've been told.
