A friend of mine has a web site set up to run on port
3500, when i plug my computer directly into the modem, i
can access it. but when i'm through the router, i can't
seem to get any combinations of port forwarding to allow
me to acces the site. any ideas? thanx

It should not make a difference, unless you have parental
controls on a MN700 enabled -- check it out! The ports only
block if you run a server, not when you access outside data

Are you using the MN-100, MN-500, or the MN-700?

Which firmware version are your running?

Is the site you are trying to connect to also behind the router?
