In my office the pop mail a/c in main computer - user1 - works but in other
computers in the LAN get errors while send/receive mails through outlook 2003
or outllok express. Can anybody give suggestion to solve this problem to
enable me to use my pop mail a/c at my computer in my office which is in a
network. Some setting in network connections seem to be adjusted. I have
tried other options in outlook but in vain.

What *specific* errors, what have you tried already, and what do you mean by
"setting in network connections seem to be adjusted" ?

Thank for your response. The error msg says to verify server name correctly.
No, Socket error: 11001, Error No. 0x800ccc0d. I stopped e mail scanning and
auto protect in norton. I changed some network setting here & there. My pop
mail a/c set up i have to check in the box "my server requires
authentication". After doing this only the mail transmits in a normal
computer , I mean in a computer without network. Here network technicians say
it is not possible to send/receive mails in computer of other users except
main user 1. They try but have no success. I am in remote isalnd - Port
Blair, Andamans, part of India with a limited technical people with limited
knowledge. Pl. try to help if it is possible to use pop mail a/c in m.o.
outlook in a network. Thanks.

I see you have replies to your similar message in another group, so it would
be best if you were to now keep everything in that thread. In the future,
please don't multipost - if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best
to crosspost instead, by posting a single message to a handful of relevant
groups (separate the NG names with commas) so that everyone can follow the
thread. Thanks :-)
