Poor Wireless Performance

In my home I have a WRT54G router and a WUSB54GS adapter connected to my
cable modem. The wireless computer performance is consistently Very Low /
Low strength. It's usually around 25mps. The computers are on different
floors of my house and approximately 50 ft from one another. Why is the
wireless connection so weak?

Is there any way that I can increase the performance of my wireless
connection?

Thanks

Bob

Try replacing your WUSB54GS with a WAP54G in client mode, it'll work a
lot better.
