Trying to set up a trust relationship between a Win2003
Server and a WINNT40 DC on two seperate domains. I can see
each box from the other if I type in the IP doing a search
from Explorer but not the name. Upon trying to set up a
trust relationship, neither box will see the other.
Any ideas? help

If you have connection on IP but not on hostname you have a DNS problem.

I was able to set up the 'trust' on the Windows2003 side
however the WINNT4.0 server will not see the Windows2003
server. Ideas?

Have both DNS and WINS running on the DC. Staticaly assign all network
setting to the NT4 machien including WINS and DNS. Then try it again.

I have no past messaged from this thread, so I don't know all the context of
this post.
