Plusnet Usenet speeds, Official

So, according to Plusnet, if you are a premier customer paying £21.99 you
shouldn't expect speeds on Usenet, in peak time, being more than 128 -
256kbps.
Ridiculous

Yeah, they said high end even when his downlaods were well within their
limits.

And in my experience when you've used 13GB of peak bandwidth you get "light
restrictions" which means you can only get 1kbps from Usenet.

Other Plusnet accounts can deliver excellent Usenet speeds.

If you want good Usenet speeds at all times of day or night and your
total usage is suitable, go for PAYG.

I can rely on getting speeds of 600K bytes/sec or better from Astraweb
at all times.

A overpriced product, £14.99 for an allowance of 2Gb.
Every Gb after that is £1.50
Well we can see why Plusnet want premier to be slower, so that they move
over to PAYG and pay stupid prices.
