What's the address ?

Are they still testing in beta mode on the new server ?

I've been trying to find some old posts on this but no luck

Hi,

The beta platform was rolled live a few months back. The address is
usenet.plus.net

You have to be connected to Plusnet to use the Plusnet news server.

Or, if you're a Plusnet customer and feeling generous, you could
share it with a friend while you're connected to the Internet by using
a program like PortTunnel ( http://www.steelbytes.com/?mid=18 ) but
that might be a little naughty :-)

Not necessarily. If you recall, Plus.Net offers a service to users of
the BT Broadband service, too, marketed as their 'Essentials' account.
BT Broadband no longer makes mention of the services from Plus.Net or
Clara.Net (as they were in the section for e-mail, and now there's a
significant reason to mention only BT Yahoo! Mail... Peter M.
