Looks like Plusnet might be the next takeover target.

Be interesting to see who that is.
My bet will be on Sky or BT, seeing as they lost out on AOL.

If that was an online survey, none of the dissatisfied customers responses
would have makd it back to the pollster thanks to traffic throttling - I
often used to get 1 byte/sec usenet download speed with plusnet in the
evenings (no I didn't miss a "K" out there).

LOL!
All appears to be sorted now, by the way - Usenet is fair whizzing through
here.
It looks as if Plusnet are now crawling back to somewhere approaching their
previous good levels of service after the past 9 months of disastrous faux
pas and outages.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
