If one opens a Plusnet account is it then possible to add a referral
code to benefit someone ? the account setup was done without going
through a referral link, it asked for referrer email details(that I
don't have) so I couldn't put it in.

Peter ?

Phil,

Assuming your's was the referred account, all you need to do is raise a
ticket (http://contactus.plus.net) explaining the situation and
providing the username of the customer who referred you.

Kind Regards,

It doesn't (as I remember it) require email details - just the account name.
'mauve' for example in my case.

it puts it in the form @*.plus.com from memory ie expresses it as an
email address
