alt.binaries.dvdr

Anyone confirm? If so what is the contention rate??

if they do, I doubt it will be more than a couple of days,
most UK ISP's who provide binaries struggle to keep either
of those groups at decent levels. My advice, is to subscribe
to a premium newsserver, such as Easynews, Giganews, or even
PAYG on Astraweb.

Yes to both those groups via Plusnet. Not sure what you mean re contention
rate for those binaries. Sorry

On the current platform - not more that 48 hours but once the new usenet
platform is live we are aiming to have 7 day retention on binaries and
30 on text.

I`m currently with NDO and using Astraweb for NG`s was just looking at
saving a couple of quid but it looks like I might aswell keep as I am *sigh*
