When rep James Bailey is not talking down to people and trying to be a
control freak, he can be usually found breaching the data protection Act.

Honestly !!! Pussnets on going threats of legal action to all who do not bow
down to them are now in obvious effect, ADSL Guide seem to be pandering to
Pussnet now, from going to completely objective in the past, ADSLGuide (and
their new name) look like they are scared shitless by Pussnets bully boy
control tactics and Lawyers, to the point they might as well make Bailey a
moderator there.

And this from an ISP who publicly condemned that site by Ian Wild and other
top brass on their own controlled forums (PUG) they also spat the dummy and
stopped posting on ADSL guide 2 or 3 times before when they could not
control the independent writing there, Christ, how long before they try to
control here? James Bailey recently did his usual foot first without
thinking though and let it slip that they wanted more control of the
supposedly independent Plusnet forum on that site, basically Plusnet are
back there with conditions and it seems to be working for them.

Out of interest, who has had private correspondence from pussnet with an aim
to silence them? I've had thinly veiled threats from Plusnets own Ian Wild,
but so far they have not turned the bully boy Lawyers on me yet, though I
know they have done this to other ex PN customers, the moment they stoop
this low again will be the day I make public even more of their deceitful
tactics.

Yes, why do people stay and moan about it. Why don't they just migrate.

It's a puzzle isn't it ?

I put it down to inertia and natural reluctance for change.

Or that they are happy with the service they are getting for the price?

Well if they are happy they will not be moaning about it, will they.

Nope - I'm quite happy here on Plusnet's PAYG tariff. No throttling or
restrictions, using MaxDSL and it all works - at about half the monthly
tariff I was paying BT Broadband.

Horses for courses, I suppose. I'm not a gamer or an avid downloader but I
suspect that many of those with large chips of Plusnet buried in their
shoulders might well be!

George - apparently a stupid fucking cunt who deserves all he gets!
;-)

And when (and if) that happens, I'll be off to (probably) GlobalNet or
Waitrose like a rat up a drainpipe...
However - watch out for upcoming new tariff packages from Plusnet, which are
being much trailed/leaked at the moment in their own NGs.
I suspect that these may be slanted heavily towards "PAYG", as they freely
admit that that is the only tariff where users actually pay an
economically-viable charge which enables them to remain unthrottled.
However, I'm with you as far as the Plus and Premier tariffs are concerned -
they are anything BUT "Plus" or "Premier"!
I moved off Plus on to PAYG some time ago and for the life of me I can't
understand why others are reluctant to do likewise - or get their MAC and go
elsewhere where the grass may be greener and cheaper.

George

Undoubtedly the PAYG subscribers have had the best of it - but they are
a small minority (although to judge from the way that Plusnet are
bullying Premier and BB+ customers into switching to PAYG, they might
not be in the minority for long ...which means they will then find out
what crippling rate limits and severe peak time throttling is all about
of course...)
