I can ping the web site, but that's about all. It's not loading.

So it's probably not you

Dominic

Having called Plusnet tech support, the recorded message (some bloke
sounding well flustered!) suggests most (if not all) of their entire
network has gone tits up.

Unacceptable for an ISP to go completely thru the floor (IMO) but i'm
sure they are doing all they can to resolve matters .... and will let us
have a full and complete truthful account of the situation in due
course.

Anything good on telly ... ?

Hi,

It isn't just you. We have a problem with Internet Connectivity for those
customers who are connected and with authentication for those trying to
connect. The problems been caused by the loss of an ATM pipe. The network
guys are looking into it now, although at present I unfortunately don't
have an ETA.
If you can't get to our portal then status updates are being posted to our
newsgroups and to the Usertools site at http://usertools.plus.net/
