Just a quickie to save me calling Plusnet.

Having got a plusnet ADSL service myself and being very satisfied, I am
pointing a friend towards them.

Just one question however.

Some of the cheaper Plusnet services do not support P2P such as Kaaza.
Well this is not a problem as he doesn't want that.

However does Netmeeting and MSN messanger count as a P2P service? And if
so, does that mean it wont work on that Plusnet service?

Any quick replies please?

Mike

Hi Mike,

Netmeeting and MSN will work fine with the Home Surf account - it
depends more on what hardware you use (routers are harder to set up than
modems).

It may also be worth looking at our new Broadband Home Lite account
rather than the home surf which has no blocked ports and starts at
£14.99 a month with a 1G data transfer limit (extra bandwidth charged at
£2.50/G). Full details are available at
http://www.plus.net/info2/residentia..._homelite.html

Regards,
