Plus NG cannot provide Adobe news?

Trying to get hold of adobe.acrobat.windows, which Pipex (and I assume
other providers) display no problem (using OE6, latest patches).

On PlusNet, just shows up as totally empty. This has been happening ever
since I first tried to access it, over a month ago and goes for other adobe.
NGs as well (I tried adobe.golive.windows and others but still no go).
Other users report same situation.

The reply I got from Plus support was not up to their usual standard:

We have experienced delays with usenet messages of late which is now been
sorted out. This may well have been the problem that you experienced. If
not, you should consider a dedicated news server prodider such as GigaNews,
or Easynews.

Any ideas?

The adobe group, with the exception of photoshop.elements, isn't carried
by Claranet either.
Neither Teranews nor Astraweb carry it. Not a well propagated set of
newsgroups.

I have also lost newsgroups in the last 3/4 days.

Plusnet's response is:

"Unfortunately the homesurf package doesn't not allow Newsgroup access"

Which doesn't answer the question and is a bit strange in view of their
'features':

"Access to text-based newsgroups "

Ah well

flop

Thanks - I wonder why it is not propagated? Less entertaining than
alt.sex.hamsters, but more useful to me at the moment...

In this particular case, Pipex beats PlusNet then.

You can get them from the Adobe site, although you have to register.

Unfortunately Adobe's forum system is so chronic, that is the reason I'm
looking for OE NG access!

Guess I'll have to Google Group instead.

No posting allowed, but you can post via google groups.
Easily found using http://www.newzbot.com/ (just a bit late in
