This may be unsuitable reading for 'Minus Net' and other anti Plus Net
readers.

"Publishing results for the three months to September"
Isn't that just before they started throttling newsgroups to speeds of less
than dial up?
It would be interesting to find out how many customers have left since then.
Their own forums are full of people moaning and asking for their MAC's. Its
like a war zone in there.

"At the same time the total number of punters stood at almost 140,000
following a "strong surge" in demand."
And how much more capacity have they now got?

"PlusNet exploits industry-leading network management techniques through its
unique low cost operating platform known as 'Workplace' to control and
optimise data traffic over the internet."
Ahhh...that's right they have not bought anymore capacity since the very
beginning of the year.......They just throttle all their customers so they
can fit more users on....Ding, Ding move along please, room on top for a few
more.

You're attempting to talk sense to a deluded arselicking fuckwit.
One can only guess why pussnet felt it necessary to publish their
financial details. Prolly hoping they can be brought out before the
shit hits the fan. There can't be many companies who are happy to
announce they're doing okay by screwing their customers. The last time
it happened the firm went down the shitter within months.

I think you're overestimating the unrest with PN customers.
Their policies are mainly affecting the big d/loaders.
Fair enough maybe they do have a complaint, as the T & C didn't appear to
restrict them when they signed up, but the majority of light users like
myself do not find their current limits or policies a problem.
Mike.

You're inert and pussnet are hoping there are many more like you.
When they got you painted into a corner, you're excuse will be the old
fallback "I don't want to change my email address"

This is the second time (at least) that they have changed their T&Cs
suddenly due to a group of people using the advertised service
making it unprofitable. They should try advertising honestly one
day, but I'm not holding my breath.

Whereas you get round it by remaining anonymous - not having the courage
of your convictions.

Actually, I think we should just call him 'Minus Seven' - fits his IQ
too, I expect!
