Pluging a wireless router in a Telewest broadband cable modem

Hi, I have a Telewest Broadband (Blueyonder) connection using a
Motorola Surfboard SB5100
(http://broadband.motorola.com/consum...oducts/sb5100/) cable
modem.

I'd like to use a NAT/DHCP wireless router from Buffalo, the WBR2-G54S
(http://www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=937).

My questions are:
1) can I connect the two (I'm simply not sure about that 'wan'
connector at the back of the Buffalo wireless router... doesn't look
like ethernet to me (not sure- pixs are in the link above)

2) If I can connect the two, will the wireless router acquire an
address from the DHCP server at Blueynder and then, using NAT & DHCP
built-in the wireless router, have 2 or 3 laptops connect
simultaneously?

The WAN port should just be another RJ45 socket. They may have just
offset it to make it obvious to the technically challenged as to which
one it is.

You will have to register the MAC address of the WAN port on the router
with Blueyonder (you can do that on their website or by phone). You
should be able to get this out of the router/documentation.

No longer need to reg MAC addresses
just connect up with Cat 5 ( Rj45)
reboot modem then Router then PC in that order
